And speaking of . . .(streams of consciousness)

Did you catch my last post? The one where my sister wrote me a poem?  Her mind works in crazy ways! Biffer (Mary) is a rare treat--super fun and creative!

And speaking of creativity, she did send me a snapshot of us at the Oscars. We had a great time! :)

Biffer is the one making crazy faces between J.Law and Ellen, I'm just in my glory with all the stars, our dad is the one tilting his head slightly, thinking "Are we really here?" and my Hubby is the stud at the top saying, "You ain't got nothing on me, Bradley!" Goodtimes, I tell ya! Best Academy Awards in a long time!

And speaking of the Oscars, way to go Frozen--Best Picture and Best Song!! We took our 3 oldest boys to see it a few weeks ago. We may have been the last people to see the movie, but we all loved it! Of course then our 2 oldest boys figured out how to be too cool for school and act like they can't stand the music. But secretly, I know better. Wanna know how? They beg and plead for me not to sing the Frozen songs--out of the clear blue. Which really means, "We want you to sing the Frozen songs, but we are trying to act like we don't." Don't worry boys, I've gotcha covered!! Bet ya didn't know that I've once or twice or a hundred times broken out into song, singing "Let It Go" and other various Frozen songs. And not just for them. I love it!

And speaking of Frozen, we did get our mini ice storm with a little snow on Oscars night, providing us with a snow day yesterday! Our sweet Miles braved the super chilly temps and came outside to play with me. Miles loves snow almost as much as I do. In fact, today, I showed him a photo my friend put on Instagram of a snowman. He started singing, "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" And of course, after seeing Frozen, the other day when one of his brothers was quite upset about something, I mentioned that someone was having a "meltdown." Miles was very upset about it and exclaimed, "Mommy, I don't want ___ to melt down. I don't want him to go away like snowmen!"

And speaking of meltdowns. Melt my heart!
