I'm a little late in posting this, but I didn't want to let June disappear without a quick post on the special man in our lives and Father's Day weekend!
As Father's Day was approaching, Luke would tell me every morning, "I can't wait until Sunday to celebrate Daddy!" Too cute! He was also determined to give his daddy something with sea creatures on it. He loves the "whale store" (aka Vineyard Vines), so we did a little shopping for Chad there. After perusing all of the store, multiple times (our sales guy finally left us alone because we were taking so long) Luke picked out a shirt for Chad that matched one of Luke's. Now they can be twins!! :)
We spent a lot of Father's Day weekend watching golf (The U.S. Open was on), but we also made it to the sprinkler park, enjoyed a nice Father's Day brunch after church and chilled by the pool with my Dad too!
Luke and Charlie are SO incredibly lucky to have Chad as their daddy. It makes me melt to watch Chad and the boys play together. All the giggles, all the love, and all the learning that takes place when all 3 of my boys are together is priceless. He is an amazing dad and husband and Luke, Charlie and I are very thankful the Lord gave him to us!! We love you so much, Honey!!
