Okay. I can't believe we did it, and yes, we are pretty far behind, but we are now addicted to the tv show 24. My sister gave Chad the first season of 24 for his birthday. I'm not sure whether to be mad at her or love her even more! The show is incredible and it's practically impossible to pull yourself away from it. Our sweet Luke was sick and throwing up over the weekend (poor thing), so needless to say we didn't go out. After Luke was finally asleep (Sat. Sun. and Mon.), we decided to break down and finally open 24. It's been sitting in our house for 2 months now, but we haven't wanted to get addicted. . .and now there's no hope for us! I'm sure those of you who watch 24 can totally relate and are glad you are watching the 6th season now.
Anyway, last night little Luke decided he didn't want to sleep at all after 1 am and I am kicking myself for staying up and watching yet one more episode. The first thing that popped into my head after "I need Tylenol" was Matthew 11:28-- "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest." Amazing that one little verse can give you so much peace and be appropriate for so many things. I know I will be relying on that verse this week.
We were able to get Luke's MRI scheduled at the children's hospital after all. So, he now goes in at 6:30am on Thursday morning. We'll keep you updated and thanks for your prayers! Here's a picture of little Luke this weekend. I think he spent most of Friday watching Baby Einstein while cuddling with us!
